Sorry no pics, I know that is really the only reason some even stop by, but lately things have been too crazy to even remember to pick up the camera.
Gymnastics is back in action. This goes along with a huge prayer request. The lady (she is my age) that owns/runs the gym has been in Springfield for the past three/four weeks. The first Thursday that gymnastics started she was talking on the phone with her husband who was stuck in traffic on Hwy 44, long story short the phone went dead and come to find out he was hit from behind by a tractor trailer. He has serious injuries and has been in a coma at St. John's in Springfield ever since. They have a one year old son. I am friends with her cousin who keeps me posted and has reported that the swelling on his brain is starting to go down. Just pray for the whole family, it will be a VERY long recovery.
So it is fall, I LOVE the weather, but hate some things that go along with this time of year--Jon is back into supervision, this week alone he has something EVERY single night AND on Saturday-yea:-( I feel so sorry for him, he is so tired and stressed.
This weekend Alissa and I took the kids to Branson for another Silver Dollar City trip. I almost didn't even bring my camera but thought you all would miss pics of them on the Happy frogs......BUT when I took my first pic I noticed a nice little message "No card" So apparently my picture card was at home in my thingy that transfers it to the computer-I know you are disappointed, but you will have to imagine this time or find some old posts (I am too tired to do it for you right now) if you really can't stand it.
When I got home from school on Friday I had big plans to pack and pick up the house a little before Alissa got here, funny. As I was walking up the garage steps to enter my house I was greeted by Lexi running back out yelling, "Titus got out and destroyed the house!" (Deep breathe, surely it is not too bad.) Boy was I wrong...it was the worst it could be! Not only did he drag every bit of the trash into the living room, every but of the kids' craft box into he living room, every bit of three rolls of shredded paper towels into the living room, but he ate an entire economy size bag of doggie treats. Do you know what happens when a dog eats and entire bag of doggie treats mixed with colored pencils, crayons, paper, and trash...DIARRHEA!!!!!!!!! not just in one spot but in many spots and paw prints which took it to other spots. It was UGLY!!! Long story short (too late) I cleaned up trash and poop and scrubbed carpet multiple times all while packing, it was great! So today after church we purchased a steam cleaner (I normally just rent one a couple times a year) and cleaned the carpets. It was so bad I really thought we were gonna have to carpet the house, apparently the doggie treats contained some kind of red dye. It was awful and I was scared for my dog's life for awhile, but we all made it.
I am still taking classes for my masters. Right now I am in a year long internship and a semester long research class, I am crazy!
On a good note I did get all moved into my new office at school. It is beautiful and so BIG. I can not even tell you how nice it is to have a huge L shaped desk and my own space. Woo Hoo!
Well, that's enough rambling for now. Maybe next time some pics.
I will leave you with a Gracie comment from this weekend...
Me: This is the Craft Festival (talking about SDC).
Grace: What's a Crap Festival?
