He's OK and it wasn't his fault!!

I was in the drive through getting ready to pick up my medicine when he called. He was only two miles away so the girls and I headed that direction (the ambulance passed us on the way.) Thank goodness I had already talked to him and I saw him BEFORE I saw the truck. It was ugly! He was on his way to supervise a softball game when a truck pulled out in front of him. When I arrived I had Big Hillary Temple(that's what we call her not to be confused with Lil' Hillary Hines) come to watch the kids in the car as we cleaned out the inside of his truck and waited for all the statements to be taken. About an hour and a half after the accident I dropped Jon and the girls off at home and I proceeded to go back and get my medicine. As small towns go the person giving me my medicine through the window proceeded to ask me if he was OK, crazy how fast news spreads! So now we wait and play the insurance game, fun, fun! OH, and the worst part about it is that two minutes before the accident Jon had filled up his gas tank, last Thursday I got his oil changed, and last July we just bought him four new tires--that's money well spent!! BUT, he is sitting right here next to me healthy and in one piece and that is all that REALLY matters!!
How cute is this flower arrangement one of the mom's bought for Jon from all of the softball players. (It is a truck with band-aids on it and in the arrangement there is a box of band-aids and Tylenol.)

I am thankful that Jon is okay! When I saw the truck my heart dropped. Talk about bad luck with gas! Give Jon a big hug for me. Nancy
