Catch-Up and the 4th of July--UPDATED

Catch-up
After High-teen week of camp (promise the pics are coming even though most of you have seen them on facebook), we had the Hines come to visit (always good times, yet pretty sure no pics), then last Monday I started my two weeks of summer school. This isn't a normal summer school, it is two 4-hour credit Master classes, I leave my house at 5:50 am and get home around 7 pm (it's hell). So needless to say I haven't had much time to do anything but that, I have one more week of that and then I can relax. Last week, since I had class and Jon had his last week of summer school, the girls spent the week with Maw Maw and Paw Paw on the farm, for pictures of that you can check out Amy' blog @.....wait....she doesn't have a blog, ok you can see those pictures on Amy's facebook @....no..wait...she doesn't have a FB either....well, I guess none of us will ever see pictures of my babies at the farm. (Just kidding Amy, you can send me those pics the same way you sent me the pics of the cousin BBQ/Birthday...no..wait you never sent me those either---seriously--LOVE YA!!) So that catches you up with us. Hope you all are having a great summer too.
As of this very afternoon Amy has joined the facebook world!!!!!!!! She says it is because of her "teacher friends" UNLIKELY story, we all know the truth!!!!!!!
4th of July
We had a great time. I spent $5 dollars on sparklers and two cone things, the neighborhood spent a lot of money for our entertainment as well, plus from our backyard we have a perfect view of our city firework show--the kids LOVED every second of it.
Gracie jumped right in with the sparklers. (Can't go anywhere without her boots.)
Lexi was very nervous about the sparklers, she made her Daddy help her.
She finally did it by herself-sort of.
"Our" big finale

Gracie didn't want to go to bed, so we put the dog to work for the first time....worked like a charm.

I swear I DID NOT read this post and then go all FaceBooky! As always, you crack me up! I did take some really awesome pictures of Gracie wearing one of mom's hats, while carrying a shovel and a bucket....
